Frampton     A BLACK REDSTART on top of St Mary’s Church late morning then flew E towards Denfurlong (Cools) Farm at midday. (Pete Grimmitt/Nigel Young/MK). On Splatt Flashes, a Little Egret, a Kestrel, 70+ Fieldfares, 20+ Redwings, 50+ Starlings and three Skylarks and 2000+ Golden Plovers distant on the river. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     Six Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy this lunchtime, also a Kingfisher and a drake Mandarin, a Water Rail from Martin Smith hide and a Spotted Redshank close in at Robbie Garnett hide. (Sam Walker).

Witcombe Reservoirs     A female Goldeneye, six Tufted Ducks (3m, 3f), 14 Mallards, five Great Crested Grebes, three Little Grebes, 19 Greylags, 25 Coots, two Mute Swans, a Grey Heron and five Cormorants. (Paul Brunt).

Kingswood     In the garden at least 35 Redwings feeding on Hawthorns and at least as many over, three Fieldfares on Hawthorns and 12 over, a Mistle Thrush, a mixed tit flock of seven Great Tits, four Blue Tits, a Coal Tit and 17 Long-tailed Tits and a Dipper in the stream. (Tom McCarthy).
