The roost can be viewed from the Estuary Tower. 68 White-fronted Geese on the Bottom New Piece from Kingfisher hide. 30 Bewick’s Swans on the Rushy. Four Avocets from Zeiss hide. Purton    This morning along the canal and river a Cormorant, Lapwing, eight Dunlins, two Redshanks, Curlew, five Wigeon, a Kingfisher, a Little Grebe and many Redwings and Fieldfares. (Mike Davis).
