Sandhurst     The YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still by the River Severn today at SO8156023669. Also three Chiffchaffs, four Goldcrests, a Treecreeper, 8+ Long-tailed Tits, Blue and Great Tits, 3+ Skylarks, a Red Kite, several Buzzards, 50 Stock Doves, a Little Owl, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Green Woodpecker and a probable Lesser Spotted Woodpecker calling but not seen. Park by the church, the walk is about 20 mins, wellies advised. The footpath goes between 2 cowsheds in the farmyard at the end of the lane, this is OK. Gloucester     At Sudmeadow the RICHARD’S PIPIT calling and showing well at times again this morning at SO8054417946 in the sheep field mainly. Also two Meadow Pipits, a Chiffchaff by the river and a Buzzard. (Paul Masters). A male BLACK REDSTART on the Cathedral this morning, also a pair of Peregrines. (Duncan Dine).

WWT Slimbridge     The BITTERN again today in the back reedbed on South Lake. (Magnus Carter).

Saul Warth     This afternoon four Grey Herons, four Little Egrets, 41+ Curlews, a Grey Plover, 20 Lapwings, three Golden Plovers, ten Shelducks, a Mistle Thrush, 30+ Fieldfares, 10+ Redwings, two Rock Pipits, three Meadow Pipits, 14 Chaffinches, a Raven and eight Grey Squirrels storing acorns. Berkeley     From Severn House Farm SW towards Shepperdine on the falling tide this morning 25 Dunlins, 30 Lapwings, seven Redshanks, two Curlews, two Oystercatchers, four Little Egrets, six Grey Herons, four Pied Wagtails, two Stonechats, six Meadow Pipits, two Rock Pipits, c10 Fieldfares and two Redwings, a Kestrel and a Cormorant. Forest of Dean    At noon, two Red Kites over Forge Hill, Lydbrook. (Chris Sullivan).

Painswick Beacon     This morning three Hawfinches and 85 Redwings over. (John Fleming).

Stonehouse     On the canal at Boakes Drive, a female Kingfisher, a male Kingfisher at Ryeford and a female Blackcap, Grey Wagtails at Ryeford and Dudbridge locks. (Paul Sutton).

Ebley     Mid morning a pair of Goosanders at Ebley Mill, but scared off by loud youths, they flew E but not relocated. (Paul Sutton). At 3pm the female back on the canal at Ebley but no sign of the male. (Mike Leahy).

Frampton     At Splatt Bridge a Marsh Harrier and three Kestrels. The Starling murmuration numbers were an estimated 12000, counted in, in large and small groups from 3:50-4:40pm. (Paul Sutton/Neil Sumner).
