Saul Warth     At high tide early morning a KITTIWAKE, a Common Gull, a Common Sandpiper, 44 Curlews, 53 Lapwings S, 150+ Dunlins, 51 Shelducks, a Raven, eight Meadow Pipits and a Rock Pipit. (MK).

Sharpness     Over high tide a KITTIWAKE perched briefly on the pier before it flying off. (Paul Rich).

Gloucester     A male Black Redstart singing and very active around Lady Chapel 0n the Cathedral this morning. (Paul Clark). No sign of the Richard’s Pipit at Sudmeadow this morning. (Jon Mercer).

Forest of Dean     A BARN OWL seen at Crabtree Hill on Thursday night 24th (Robin Ward) and again this morning. (Robin Husbands). At Cannop ponds two Ravens near the bird table feeding on corn, Wigeon still on the lake and a Nuthatch on the bird table. (Chris Keeling).

Frampton    From Splatt Bridge this morning two Marsh Harriers, two Peregrines, two Common Cranes flew through, four Redshanks, three Stonechats and two Blackcaps. (Gordon Hodgson). c10000 Starlings at Splatt Bridge this evening but most went straight down. Also three Marsh Harriers. (Magnus Carter).

Fretherne    17 Little Egrets in the field of cattle next to the Nurseries, also three Buzzards and a male Kestrel. (Steve Pullen).

WWT Slimbridge     The BITTERN again on South Lake, on the far bank on deep lake, between the two islands. (Helen Bojaniwska). A Water Rail beneath the feeders at Willow hide. (Sarah Townsend). A female Goldeneye in flight from tundra pen, at least 28 Snipe on the Tack Piece and four Cattle Egrets in the approach road fields. (Tom Mabbett).

Walmore Common     31 Shovelers, seven Gadwalls, nine Pintails, a male Tufted Duck, a Great White Egret, a Sparrowhawk, a Peregrine, a Kingfisher, four Stonechats and a Lesser Redpoll today. (Andy Jayne).

Cotswold Water Park West    At Shorncote Reedbed today 300 Lapwings, three Stonechats, two Ravens, ten Teal, five Water Rails heard, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Chiffchaff and a Little Grebe on the new water. (Richard Williams).

Painswick Beacon     Highlights from this morning, 7:30 am to 10:30am, 267 Fieldfares, 815 Redwings, 29 Skylarks, 127 Chaffinches, seven Bramblings, 12 Siskins, 18 Linnets, 44 Goldfinches and three Hawfinches. (John Fleming).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Three Mute Swans, 50 Greylags and 20 Canada Geese, two Shelducks, 528 Wigeon, 263 Teal, 70 Mallards, 41 Pintails, 54 Shovelers, two Tufted Ducks, two Grey Herons, a Buzzard, a Water Rail squealing, five Coots, 60 Lapwings, a Dunlin, ten Skylarks, 40 Redwings and Fieldfares, two Cetti’s Warblers, a Blackcap and a Lesser Redpoll.
