WWT Slimbridge     The BITTERN again on South Lake this morning to the left of the left hand island near the black pipe on the deep lake. (Mark Dowie). A female MERLIN from the Estuary Tower. (Martin McGill).

Shepherd’s Patch     A late WHINCHAT this morning on the public footpath at SO733042. (Richard Horton).

Frampton     At Splatt Bridge this morning from the towpath N of the bridge two Kestrels, two Buzzards, a female Sparrowhawk hunting along the towpath and a Peregrine on a piece of driftwood. Also two Little Egrets, four Stonechats, a Song Thrush, c50 Fieldfares and 15 Redwings. (Chris Newton).

Gloucester     A male BLACK REDSTART still on the Cathedral today. (Ken Hurcombe).

Cheltenham     At Pittville Lawn a Tawny Owl calling this morning at 3:30am. (Howard Taylor). At Naunton Park this evening 2/3 Tawny Owls interacting loudly and aggressively at 9:45pm near the Rose Garden. (Steve Brown).

Brockworth     The first male Blackcap of the autumn on garden feeders this afternoon. Also ten Long-tailed Tits. (John Miles).
