Gloucester     A male BLACK REDSTART still around and showing well along the SE corner of the Cathedral this morning. (Steve Pullen).

Hawling     On a circuit S of the village, a Red Kite, two Ravens, two Corn Buntings, two Reed Buntings, six Yellowhammers, a small group of Linnets and numerous Fieldfares and Redwings. Golden Plovers heard in flight in thick fog. (Steve Brown).

WWT Slimbridge     A Great White Egret from Decoy hide at 1pm and a second bird flew over. (Julian Gould). Also note a drake hybrid American Wigeon was fooling birders on the Tack Piece today. (Neil Smart/Paul Sutton).

Saul Warth     Early afternoon eight Grey Plovers, seven Redshanks, 500+ Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper still, 18 Curlews, 45 Shelducks, two Little Egrets, 20 Chaffinches, 11 Long-tailed Tits, two Meadow Pipits and a Rock Pipit. (MK).
