Saul Warth This afternoon at low tide a Common Sandpiper, 500+ Dunlins, a Curlew, 309 Lapwings N in five flocks with three Dunlins, four Greylags N, two Shelducks, three Grey Herons, a Rock Pipit, 25+ Chaffinches, 14 Stock Doves, 12 Long-tailed Tits and 55 Rooks. A dead Red-breasted Merganser on the tide line. (MK).

Also three Mute Swans, 128 Greylags and 337 Canada Geese, eight Shelducks, 250 Teal, a Gadwall, 75 Mallards, 60 Pintails, 90 Shovelers, five Tufted Ducks, a Buzzard, two Grey Herons, ten Coots, 75 Lapwings, 60 Black-headed Gulls and c75 Fieldfares along the canal.
