WWT Slimbridge    The first-winter SCAUP on the Rushy again today. (Neil Smart/Paul Brunt). A MERLIN through the Tack Piece and a showy Water Rail this morning. (Jeremy Holland). The BITTERN still on South Lake today. (Paul Brunt). Three Buzzards, a Kestrel and two Snipe from Kingfisher hide, a Snipe and a Peregrine from Zeiss hide, a Fox hunting on the sea wall from Estuary Tower and a Roe Deer on the sea wall by Bottom New Piece. Coombe Hill Meadows     The juvenile DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE  still today from Grundon hide or visible from the tow path. (Ian Hull).

Gloucester     The male BLACK REDSTART still on the Cathedral at 10:15am, also two Redwings feeding on holly berries. (Dave Stone).

Cotswold Water Park East     At lunchtime today a LITTLE GULL on Pit 125 (Bowmoor Sailing Club). A few more ducks around with 49 Wigeon, three Teal and two Pintails on adjacent Pit 126. (Ian Sherriffs). Around Pits 104, 114, 125, 126, 127, 132 and Whelford Pools ten species of duck including Pintails and displaying Goldeneyes, 150 Lapwings, Golden Plovers, Snipe and five Chiffchaffs. Also a Peregrine at Kempsford today. (Duncan Dine).

Frampton pools     On Court Lake a BITTERN showing well but distantly in the reedbed opposite to Court field, a Kingfisher and the adult Yellow-legged Gull visited both lakes. Also three Chiffchaffs, a Raven, a Bullfinch, a Nuthatch and three Little Grebes. (MK).

Minchinhampton     Two Stonechats, a male and a female, feeding in the corner of the field by the carpark of The Ragged Cott at Burnt Ash SO 888012 at 3pm today. (David Bullock).

Forest of Dean     At Lydney Lake this morning eight female Goosanders, four Cormorants and a Kingfisher. (Paul Woolams).

Bourton-on-the-Water     In Meadow Way a squabble of House Sparrows in a shrub and a Red Kite soaring low over. (Howard Taylor).
