WWT Slimbridge    The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again today and the BITTERN still on South Lake. (Tim Jukes). From Estuary Tower this morning, four Buzzards [visible at the same time], a Peregrine, three Stonechats, two Meadow Pipits, two Song Thrushes, three Redwings, at least 30 White-fronted Geese flew into the Tack Piece mid-morning and three Roe Deer by the Tack Piece far hedge. Cheltenham     A Kingfisher on the brook at the end of the Honeybourne Line path, just around the corner from the Bayshill pub. (Ged Cassell). 25 Goldfinches feeding on lavender seed in Pittville Park this morning. (John Sanders).

Gloucester     The male BLACK REDSTART around the south side of the Cathedral again today. (Chris Snook). At Alney Island five Goldcrests, 12 Long-tailed Tits, a Treecreeper, a Bullfinch, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Buzzards, a Cetti’s Warbler heard, seven Fieldfares over and a few Redwings. Chavenage Lane area     At least seven Red Kites around a dead sheep, 160+ Meadow Pipits, 120+ Skylarks and five Red-legged Partridges today. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Three Mute Swans, c5 Greylags, c5 Canada Geese, the juvenile DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE, 1200 Wigeon, 650 Teal, 150 Mallards, six Pintails, 25 Shovelers, two Coots and a pair of Stonechats. (Mike Smart).

Ashleworth Ham     550 Wigeon, 325 Teal, 80 Mallards, ten Pintails, 60 Shovelers, a Grey Heron and a Buzzard today. (Mike Smart).

Cam     Two Dippers this morning in the Littlecombe area on the River Cam between Cam and Dursley. Also a Grey Wagtail. (Mike Davis).

Prestbury     At 1pm a male Stonechat at the southern end of Noverton Farm. (Ken Heron).
