Tewkesbury     A Common Sandpiper in a ditch next to the rugby club today. (Sarah Loaring).

Forest of Dean     A Red Kite flying S over Longhope at 1:30pm. (Angela Carswell).

WWT Slimbridge     The BITTERN again at the back of South Lake today. The first-winter drake SCAUP still on the Rushy. (Duncan Dine).

Quedgeley    A Water Rail in a ditch on the canal path next to the footbridge behind Highclere Road this afternoon. Also 25 Redwings, six Fieldfares, five Song Thrushes, a male Blackcap and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton    On Court Lake a Snipe, 26 Wigeon, 18 Shovelers, 11 Teal, 30 Lapwings over, a Red Kite and a Blackcap. Also 50+ Skylarks in a field S of the Sailing Lake. (Nick Goatman).

Tuffley     In the garden a pair of Blackcaps, two Grey Wagtails, two Pied Wagtails, three Redwings, three Blackbirds, 15 House Sparrows and 50+ Starlings. (John Fletcher).

Stonehouse     A Stonechat still in the field below Hoffman’s dam, five Snipe, a Little Egret, two Grey Herons and a Grey Wagtail. Around Bond’s Mill a female Blackcap, a male Bullfinch, a female Kingfisher, Redwing, several Song Thrushes and a large number of Wrens. A garden Blackcap again this morning. (Paul Sutton).
