WWT Slimbridge     The first-winter drake SCAUP still on the Rushy. Seven Avocets on South Lake today. A Water Rail under the feeders at the Willow hide. From Estuary Tower two Peregrines, the Ross’s Goose, 13 Grey Plovers and a Marsh Harrier flying N. Five Knot on the Tack Piece. (Roy Kinchin/Magnus Carter).

Stonehouse     The redhead Goosander still on the Stroudwater Canal at St Cyr’s Church today. (Martin McGill).

Gloucester     At Horsbere Brook Flood Storage Area this morning a Snipe, two Reed Buntings, a Grey Heron and five Teal on and around the flood storage pond. Also ten Linnet, 12 Pied Wagtails, 15 Meadow Pipits and a flock of +100 Redwings feeding on the adjacent farmland with a handful of Fieldfare mixed in, a Buzzard over the A417 pursued by crows and a Kestrel over the Mound being mobbed by Magpies. Bishop’s Cleeve     Two Red Kites over Lidl and one over the Esso garage at 10am today. (Dave Jeynes).

Forest of Dean    A pair of Blackcaps feeding on an apple in the garden at Coleford. (Frank Williams).

Lechlade     Early morning two Nuthatches together on sunflower feeder and 30+ Goldfinches flushed from garden holly tree after overnight roost. (Alan Williams).
