WWT Slimbridge    The first-winter drake SCAUP still on South Lake this afternoon. (Lisa Hume). An adult winter Mediterranean Gull with Black-headed Gulls along the approach road in fields at 8:45am and later on South Lake. (Mark Dowie). From the Estuary Tower birds over the flooded Tack Piece included several thousand Lapwings, Golden Plovers and Black-tailed Godwits, also many Dunlins, Wigeon and Greylags and smaller numbers of Shelducks, Ruff and Redshanks. A Peregrine made repeated attacks. (Chris Newton).

Forest of Dean     This morning two Hawfinches and a Dipper behind The Fountain Inn at Parkend. At Cannop ponds three Bullfinches, six Goosanders, seven Tufted Ducks, a Wigeon, a female Gadwall and 15+ Mandarins on a flooded area to the side of the upper lake. Also a Marsh Tit on the feeders. Four Goosanders by the Stoneworks and a Coal Tit and a Nuthatch. (Roy Shilham). A Hawfinch feeding on the leaf litter with the Chaffinch flock on Serridge Ridge this afternoon. (Geoff Fawcett).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth     Eight Shelducks on a flooded pool on the Warth and 200 Teal on Cone Pill. (Mike Smart).

Frampton     On the Sailing Lake this afternoon an adult male and an immature male Goldeneye and a drake Pochard. The Great White Egret still on Court Lake. From Splatt Bridge at 4:30pm a MERLIN, a Buzzard and a Kestrel. (MK).

Kingscote area     This morning a Red Kite, two Buzzards, a Kestrel and lots of Fieldfares. (Mike Davis).

Quenington     Eight Corn Buntings in a roadside tree and two Red Kites on roadkill nearby. (Ian Sherriffs).

Highnam Woods     This morning at least four Marsh Tits and two Nuthatches, four Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Mistle Thrushes, 45 Redwings, four Jays, two Buzzards and a barking dog Fox. (Steve Pullen).

Gloucester     The male BLACK REDSTART still on the Cathedral this afternoon. Also a Peregrine on the Tower. (Steve Pullen). Late afternoon at Lower Parting by 4:30pm at least 2500 Starlings had dropped into the old Osier at Sudmeadow to roost. Also a Buzzard and three Roe Deer. (Gord Avery).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Pits 43/65 a male Goosander and three Goldeneyes (2m), at Pit 57 two female Goldeneyes, at Pit 58 six Goosanders (5m), at Pit 44 c10 male Red Crested Pochards. Along the Thames three Bullfinches, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Jay and a mixed flock including c20 Long-tailed Tits, a Nuthatch and a Goldcrest. (Steve Brown).

Longney      This afternoon 500+ Lapwings, 200+ Fieldfares, two Chiffchaffs, five Chaffinches, two Ravens, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, three Buzzards, a Song Thrush and 47 Starlings. (John Fletcher).

Tewkesbury     A large Starling murmuration early this morning at the Odessa Pub on A38 to Tewkesbury. (Dawn Ballinger).

Prestbury     At 2:29pm a Kingfisher flew towards Shaw Green Lane from Mill Street. It landed in the copse at the E end of Shaw Green Lane near the almost dried up pool, then flew N. (Ken Heron).
