Sharpness     From the Lifeboat Station by the public car park from 10:30-11:45am when the tide began ebb a FULMAR flew upstream on the tide being harassed by an adult Yellow-legged Gull at 10:52am. Also two Great Black-backed Gulls and four Cormorants on the dock arms. Three Ravens in the area, a pair flew past the dock entrance and one came from over the river. A Rock Pipit seen several times on the dock arms. (Gord Avery).

Saul Warth     An adult KITTIWAKE flew N over Hock Ditch at 10am, then back downriver at 11:15am. An immature KITTIWAKE flew through S at 12:20pm. The FULMAR relocated on the water at midday, it couldn’t take off and eventually went down on the tide. Also the Common Sandpiper for the first time since Jan 2nd, a Lapwing, three Curlews, seven Common Gulls, a Shelduck and two Meadow Pipits. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy today. (Roberta Goodall/Mike Davis). An adult KITTIWAKE upriver at 9:58am seen from the Estuary Tower. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Coombe Hill Meadows    The Grundon Hide was just accessible with thigh-length waders today, but water still rising. Rough counts of 1000+ Wigeon, 1400 Teal, 80 Shovelers, 31 Gadwalls, 200 Pintails, six Tufted Ducks and a Red Kite. (Andy Jayne).

Leigh Meadows     At least eight Little Egrets feeding alongside the meanders in the River Chelt today. (Mike Smart).

Forest of Dean    Today at Cannop lower pond near the Stoneworks, five male and two female Goosanders at 2pm. Two male and 11 female Goosanders at Lydney Park lake at 4pm. (Steve Young).

Daglingworth      At least 12 Ravens feeding on a sheep carcass this morning alongside Buzzards and a Red Kite. (Andrew Morrison).

Cheltenham     A Cormorant on the superstructure at Dowdeswell Reservoir. (Howard Taylor).
