Saul Warth     At high tide today a GUILLEMOT, at least five probably seven KITTIWAKES (2 1st winters) 12 Grey Plovers, 73 Curlews, six Dunlin, an Oystercatcher, c80 Pintails and 40 Wigeon over towards WWT. A Rock Pipit just W of Hock Ditch. (Gordon Hodgson/Martin McGill/MK).

WWT Slimbridge     From the Estuary Tower a SPOONBILL flying over the Dumbles at 2:55pm. The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again today. Two female Goldeneyes on South Lake. (Dot Jones/Helen Bojaniwska).

Prestbury     A MERLIN flying very low and fast at 9:52 this morning up by Noverton Farm. (Ken Heron).

Cirencester Park     A Marsh Tit, a Nuthatch, a Coal Tit, six Hawfinches in the top of tree and c15 Bramblings flying around calling down the main path today. (David Creber). Five Hawfinches in Oakley Wood  around the yews at SO 9716 0307 this afternoon. (Martine Fenn).

Forest of Dean     At Brierley parish this morning 150+ Chaffinches, 37 Bramblings, Crossbill, Siskin, Lesser Redpoll and Hawfinches starting setting up territories. (Dan Watson).

Michael Wood     Two Woodcocks in the wood this afternoon. (Matt Scott).

Daglingworth     A Barn Owl perched on a roadside fence then hunting along the Overley Road 2 miles W of Daglingworth at 1pm. (Peter Jackson).
