WWT Slimbridge     A DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE on the Top New Piece today. (David Creber).  The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again. A MERLIN from Zeiss hide. A SPOONBILL on the Top New Piece. (Roberta Goodall). Also today the Snow Goose, six Cranes, a Buzzard and a female Goldeneye on South Lake. (Sarah Townsend).

Saul Warth     At least one KITTIWAKE still this afternoon. Also the Common Sandpiper, 29 Golden Plovers over, 50+ Curlews and two Mistle Thrushes. Four Little Egrets and two Grey Herons in the field next to the road. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton pools     Three Goldeneyes (2m, 1f), 200+ Golden Plovers over, 50+flock of Lesser Redpolls and Siskins, two Chiffchaffs, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Blackcap, a Raven and a Greylag today. (Nick Goatman).

Guiting Power     A male HEN HARRIER today. (Duncan Dine).

Chalford     A Grey Wagtail at Chalford Wharf, a Goldcrest and a Wren in the same bush behind the Lavender Bakehouse. A Dipper and two Ravens behind the New Red Lion, alos ten Long-tailed Tits. (Tim Thompson).

Saul     From Saul Marina towards Whitminster and back, a Little Egret, two Great Crested Grebes, a Little Grebe, 20+ Redwings, 50+ Starlings, a female Blackcap and two Mistle Thrushes. (MK).

Hazleton     A few Bramblings feeding with a Chaffinch flock along the lane to Hazleton at SP 07142 18836. Nearby a Red Kite. (Chris Snook).

Whittington     This morning ten Corn Buntings, c50 Fieldfares, c15 Yellowhammers, a few Skylarks, c15 Linnets, three Red Kites and a Kestrel. (Tom Mabbett).

Forest of Dean     Three Red Kites circling together above Forge Hill, Lydbrook at 12:40pm. (Chris Sullivan).

Sharpness     From Sharpness to Berkeley Pill this morning at high tide two displaying Buzzards, five Stonechats, c50 Meadow Pipits, c130 Wigeon on the river, and in Dock Road a flock of c12 female/immature Linnets. (Chris Newton).

Highnam      70 Redwings by the Church this afternoon. Also Green Woodpeckers heard. A Coal Tit and three visits from a Great Spotted Woodpecker on the feeders this week in the garden. (Clare McLeod).

Stonehouse     An adult Peregrine on a pylon in the meadows below Bonds Mill, towards the mill end from 10:30 -12 noon at least. Also a Grey Heron and a female Sparrowhawk over. (Paul Sutton).
