Pillhouse Rocks, Tidenham    Two WATER PIPITS with 20+ Meadow Pipits in the Sturch Pill area this afternoon at ST563955 but elusive. (Andy Jayne).

Sharpness     Two BLACK REDSTARTS (male & female/immature) at the Docks this lunchtime. (Andy Jordan).

WWT Slimbridge    The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE on the Dumbles from Estuary Tower again. The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Slimbridge     A Barn Owl low over the road and garden hopping in the village, heading N at 5:05pm between Allen and Elliott Garage and the British Legion. (Martin McGill).

Northwood Green     A Barn Owl flew across the lane that goes towards Blaisdon at 6pm. (Gareth Jones).

Quedgeley     Two CATTLE EGRETS flew N very high up over Sims Bridge at 2:45pm. Also in the Sims Lane area 30+ Linnets and 30+ Goldfinches. (MK).

Forest of Dean    At Brierley a Hawfinch, a Crossbill, numerous Siskins and up to ten Bramblings with Chaffinches. At Cannop upper pond three pairs of Mandarins and two Little Grebes. At the stoneworks two male Goosanders, a female Bullfinch and a Grey Wagtail. At Parkend ten Hawfinches and three Ravens over. At New Fancy View on the right of the footpath to the viewpoint three Crossbills (2m, 1f). (Derek Summers/Alan Baxter). A Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming this morning in Blakeney. (Ted Harris).

Highnam Woods     This afternoon two Marsh Tits, a Coal Tit, a Nuthatch and a Goldcrest seen around the feeders. In the woods, four Marsh Tits, two Nuthatches, five Great Spotted Woodpeckers with two drumming, two Mistle Thrushes, four Song Thrushes, 400 Redwings and two Ravens. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton pools    A Great White Egret, a Little Egret, three Grey Herons, two Great Crested Grebes and a pair of Goldeneye on the Sailing Lake. Also five Stock Doves, a Fieldfare, many Redwings and a Goldcrest. (Martin Price).

Eastcombe     A Dipper in the upper Toadsmoor Valley this afternoon. (Martine & Pete Fenn).

Gloucester     At Horsbere Brook Flood Storage Area this afternoon four Snipe below the top seat in the flooded margins, two Stonechats, two Reed Buntings, seven Stock Doves, two Long-tailed Tits, a Cormorant, two Coots, two Moorhens, two Mallards, a Buzzard and 13 Magpies. (John Fletcher).

Churchdown     This morning at 9:15 a Sparrowhawk carrying a Blackbird flew across Bader Avenue from Churchdown surgery. (Derek Summers/Alan Baxter).

Cheltenham     A male Blackcap at feeding station in the garden in central of Cheltenham this morning. (Mike Barwick). This afternoon birds in Overton Road included a Redwing, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, several Goldfinches and a Greenfinch. (Alexander McNeil).
