Calmsden     20+ Yellowhammers with three Reed Buntings this afternoon. (Paul Masters/MK).

Hazleton     A Brambling with 50+ Chaffinches, 40 Fieldfares, several Pheasants and c10 Red Kites. (Alan McIlquham). A Barn Owl at dusk and two Tawny Owls calling. (Paul Masters/MK).

Hawling     Three Red Kites and a pair of Roe Deer. (Alan McIlquham).

Gloucester      A Woodcock flew over the M5 very near to Gloucester Services at dusk today. (Matt Hall). The male BLACK REDSTART on the Cathedral over the south door at 11:45am. (Jeremy Holland). Today at Saintbridge Pond at least two Chiffchaffs, a female Reed Bunting, a Treecreeper, a Grey Wagtail, a Little Egret, Redwing and a brief glimpse of a Water Rail. (John Elley).

WWT Slimbridge     This morning at the Willow hide two Water Rails and a Great Spotted Woodpecker on the feeder. From the Estuary Tower four Snipe, five Common Cranes, three small groups of White-fronted Geese and six Long-tailed Tits. On the Dragonfly pool a Cetti’s Warbler, and from the Kingfisher hide three Snipe, a mixed flock of Lapwings and Golden Plovers, a Grey Wagtail, five Long-tailed Tits and a Song Thrush. Longney Crib & Severn Way     This afternoon 75 Lapwings, a Dunlin, three Shelducks, five Redwings, a Stonechat, a Sparrowhawk, nine Mallards, two Ravens, two Buzzards, 200+ Black-headed Gulls and 25 Lesser Black-backed Gulls. (John Fletcher).
