WWT Slimbridge    The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE distant on the Dumbles from Estuary Tower again. The first-winter drake SCAUP and the drake Mandarin on the Rushy again. From Kingfisher hide 136 White-fronted Geese on the Bottom New Piece. (Slimbridge Sightings). Water Rails at South Lake and Willow hide, male and female Goldeneyes in the Eider Pen this morning. Forest of Dean     A Woodcock flushed at Woorgreens this morning. (Owen Follis). A female Crossbill from New Fancy View. 70 Mandarins opposite the turning for Cannop Ponds parking. (Duncan & Becky Dine). At Parkend Nuthatch, Hawfinch, Coal Tit and Jay. (Alan McIlquham).

Gloucester    The male BLACK REDSTART still on the Cathedral today. (Alan McIlquham).

Rodley    Along the river 450 Lapwings, 100 Golden Plovers, seven Snipe, 13 Teal, three Shelducks and a dead Gannet close to an electricity pylon. (David Smith).

Cotswold Water Park East    In the Whelford NR area a Black Swan on Pit 126, Goosander on Pit 114, Red Crested Pochards on Pit 114 and Pit 111a. Chiffchaffs, Goldcrest, Pied Wagtail and Grey Wagtail at Washpool Lane. (Jeremy Holland/Martin McGill).

Cheltenham     At Pittville Lawn a Tawny Owl calling between 6 and 6:20 this morning and again at 10pm. (Howard Taylor). At Pittville Park at lunchtime a pair of Lesser Redpolls feeding in an overhanging birch tree by the bridge on the boating lake. A Goldcrest in the conifers by the Boat Café. Also a Common Gull amongst a large flock of Black-headed Gulls out on the ice. (Christopher Widdowson).

Cold Aston     38 Golden Plovers with 21 Lapwings at SP127206 today. (Juliet Bailey/Paul Tyers).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Viewed from high ground in the NE corner at Deerhurst Walton c300 Wigeon, 100 Pintails and some Teal calling and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (Mike Smart).
