WWT Slimbridge     The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE on the Dumbles from Estuary Tower again, but later mobile around the grounds. The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again.(Slimbridge Sightings).  Two Water Rails from Willow hide. (Helen Bojaniwska).

Slimbridge    A FIRECREST in the hedgerow between Slimbridge village and pumping station. Also c600 Linnet in a roadside field there. (Speckled Wood Wildlife).

North Cerney     A MERLIN flew along Chapel Lane heading across the field towards Perrott’s Brook. (Dave Soons).

Saul Warth     This morning 500+ Dunlins, 112 Curlews, three Grey Plovers, a Redshank and a Snipe, a flock of Siskins over in the murk and a Lesser Redpoll flew W. (Gordon Hodgson).

Frampton     A Kingfisher from Splatt Bridge this evening. (Gordon Hodgson).

Uley     Ten pairs of Mandarins on Owlpen pond with 15 Fieldfares in the trees feeding on berries. A mixed flock of 30 Fieldfares and Redwings in Mutterall Farm fields. (Tim Thompson).

Winchcombe     In Sudeley Castle Grounds this morning, two Mistle thrushes, two Nuthatches, two Green Woodpeckers, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, 4+ Long-tailed tits, 3+ Redwings, a Song Thrush and a Buzzard. (Andrew & Gill Worthington). A Tawny Owl calling at 9pm. (Andrew Worthington).

Westonbirt Arboretum     This morning four Marsh Tits, two Coal Tits, 8+ Blue Tits, 4+ Great Tits, two Nuthatches and a Red Kite. (Paul Masters).

Colesbourne    Two calling Ravens over this morning. (Howard Taylor).

Forest of Dean    30 Lapwings over N of Cinderford, a garden tick. (Ed Drewitt).
