WWT Slimbridge     The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE on the Dumbles this morning. (Slimbridge Sightings). From Zeiss hide at 2:30pm, a BITTERN booming several times. (Les Ditchburn).

Gloucester    The male BLACK REDSTART still on the Cathedral today. (Jonathan Bull).

Cotswold Water Park East     At lunchtime at Whelford Pools 395 Teal roosting on ice, two Goosanders and three Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming. On Pit 126 96 Wigeon, 82 Tufted Ducks, 46 Teal, 31 Gadwalls, three Bullfinches, a Green Woodpecker and a drake Goldeneye. (Ian Sherriffs). c15 Chiffchaffs at Kempsford Sewage Works this morning. Purton to Sharpness     5+ Little Grebes, adult Great Crested Grebe, four Cormorants, 200+ Wigeons, Lapwing, a Grey Heron, a Jay, 6+ Reed Buntings, two Redshanks and two Snipe at SARA. (Mike Davis).

Prestbury     A Marsh Tit seen and heard singing along Mill Street at 10:58am. (Ken Heron).

Ebley     The female Goosander still just W of Ebley Mill today. (Paul Sutton).

Kingswood     Birds this morning included a Buzzard preening on factory roof opposite the house, a Little Egret, a Kingfisher, a Dipper, two Grey Wagtails and a Tawny Owl roosting in an oak on Vinyard Lane being buzzed by Blackbirds. (Thomas McCarthy).

Stratton     On Bathurst Estate farmland 80-100 Linnets feeding on feed crop and very mobile, perching on trees on the field boundaries. Also two Ravens over, a male Stonechat and a Barn Owl at dusk. (Ken Cservenka).

Witcombe Reservoirs     Two Mute Swans, 26 Greylags, four Teal, 116 Mallards, ten Tufted Ducks. 13 Cormorants, three Little Grebes, two Great Crested Grebes, a Red Kite, two Buzzards displaying, 12 Moorhens, 37 Coots, 13 Black-headed Gulls, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, two Herring Gulls, a Raven and a Little Owl this morning. Gloucester     At at Saintbridge Pond a Water Rail preening and foraging, and and at least four Chiffchaffs. (John Elley).

Forest of Dean    A Marsh Tit in the garden in Mitcheldean again today. (Chris Keeling).

Dursley     A Little Egret in trees by the River Cam on the Littlecombe Estate this afternoon. (Magnus Carter).

Stroud     Between Bowbridge and Stroud a Goldcrest feeding along the canalside. (John Elley).

Westfield     Three Lapwings close to the A436 today. (Howard Taylor).

Notgrove    A Buzzard soaring over the burial mound. (Howard Taylor).
