WWT Slimbridge     From the Estuary Tower a MERLIN on the southern cross fence.(Slimbridge Sightings).  The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE with Canada Geese on the Tack Piece. (Jeremy Holland). An Oystercatcher on South Lake. (Roberta Goodall). A Lesser Redpoll and Siskin with Goldfinches feeding on Alders in the grounds. (Paul Masters/Martin Price).

Frampton pools     On Court Lake the drake Red Crested Pochard, a drake Pochard, a drake Wigeon, three Goldeneyes (1m, 2f), 19 Cormorants, a Little Grebe, a Great White Egret, a Cetti’s Warbler heard and a male Blackcap at Park Lodge. E of the Sailing Lake a mixed flock of birds feeding on stubble 34 Lapwings, 70 Fieldfares, 50 Redwings, 25 Starlings, 20 Chaffinches, three Linnets, two male Reed Buntings, 11 Pied Wagtails, one each of Yellowhammer, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Song Thrush and Goldfinch. Cotswold Water Park East     At lunchtime at Pit 126 165 Teal, 136 Wigeon, 95 Gadwalls, 53 Coots, 47 Tufted Ducks, nine Great Crested Grebes, four Pintails (2m, 2f), four Goldeneyes (3m, 1f). On Pit 127 96 Pochards, 62 Teal, 31 Red Crested Pochards, 38 Greylags, 28 Tufted Ducks, 27 Canada Geese and 12 Wigeon. (Ian Sherriffs).

Claypits     56 Golden Plovers over arable fields beside the A38 at 2:45pm. (Jamie Warren).

Forest of Dean    A Red Kite over lower Mitcheldean at 3:55pm today. Two Buzzards seen together over local fields most days. Garden birds included male and female Chaffinch, a Coal Tit and a Marsh Tit. (Chris Keeling).

Bourton-on-the-Water     A Red Kite low over the rooftops in Moore Road. (Howard Taylor).

Cheltenham     At Naunton Park, garden birds included two Siskins, a singing male and a female, male and female Greenfinches, three Blackcaps (2m), two Long-tailed Tits and a Raven over. (Steve Brown).

Andoversford     A Buzzard in a tree by the A40 opposite Station Road. (Howard Taylor).

Dowdeswell Reservoir     A Cormorant on the superstructure drying its wings. (Howard Taylor).
