WWT Slimbridge    From Estuary Tower three SHORT-EARED OWLS tussling together along seawall to the N at 1:30pm. (Ian Hull).  Also a MERLIN on the Dumbles. At Kingfisher hide two Lesser Redpolls feeding on the alders next to the feeders. Also a Treecreeper and a Goldcrest. (Tim Jukes). The DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE on the Dumbles today from the Estuary Tower. (Martin Price).

Cotswold Water Park East     On Pit 132 18 Golden Plovers, eight Lapwings, eight Meadow Pipits, eight Linnets, two Buzzards, two Ravens, two Grey Herons, a Mistle Thrush, a Snipe and the first Oystercatcher back on territory. (Ian Sherriffs).

Saul Warth     At high tide four Grey Plovers, 17 Curlews (100+ more at Awre), 300+ Dunlins, 100+ Lapwings S (100+ more at Awre), two Shelducks, a drake Teal, a Rock Pipit, ten Meadow Pipits, eight Linnets and a Green Woodpecker. (MK).

Epney     On the mud S of The Anchor 130+ Lapwings and 70+ Golden Plovers this morning. (MK).

Frampton     On Court Lake, a Red Crested Pochard, a Great White Egret, four Little Egrets, six Great Crested Grebes, Gadwall and Cormorant. From Splatt Bridge a Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, c60 Curlews, c100 Lapwings over, a male Kingfisher, Fieldfare, Redwing and a Cormorant. Forest of Dean     At Soudley Ponds 24 Mandarins and a Little Grebe on the upper pond, a singing Siskin, and seven Robins at the feeding station. At Blaize Bailey seven Ravens (3 pairs and a single bird) along the hill towards Soudley in the tall conifers. At Littledean a Red Kite flew over the village. At Parkend five Hawfinches flew over the playing field. At Cannop Ponds 143 Mandarins, five Little Grebes, 13 Tufted Ducks, a Gadwall, 11 Wigeon, eight Teal, 102 Mallards and a Dipper in the brook near upper pond. (Steve Kear).

Chedworth     Garden birds included a male Blackcap, a garden first, a Song Thrush, two Pheasants, three Carrion Crows, two Magpies, up to 12 Jackdaws, 15+ Woodpigeons and a Rook. Also two Red Kites, two Ravens, a Buzzard and a Kestrel over. (Harvey Sherwood).

Elmore     From Weir Lane to the Groundless Pool four Grey Herons, two Blackcaps, three Redwings, two Jays, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Cormorant, a Moorhen and two Mallards. (John Fletcher).

Longney Crib     39 Lapwings flew S, two Cormorants. two Grey Herons, 300+ Black-headed Gulls,  75+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. (John Fletcher).
