Forest of Dean At Soudley Ponds 24 Mandarins and a Little Grebe on the upper pond, a singing Siskin, and seven Robins at the feeding station. At Blaize Bailey seven Ravens (3 pairs and a single bird) along the hill towards Soudley in the tall conifers. At Littledean a Red Kite flew over the village. At Parkend five Hawfinches flew over the playing field. At Cannop Ponds 143 Mandarins, five Little Grebes, 13 Tufted Ducks, a Gadwall, 11 Wigeon, eight Teal, 102 Mallards and a Dipper in the brook near upper pond. (Steve Kear).
Chedworth Garden birds included a male Blackcap, a garden first, a Song Thrush, two Pheasants, three Carrion Crows, two Magpies, up to 12 Jackdaws, 15+ Woodpigeons and a Rook. Also two Red Kites, two Ravens, a Buzzard and a Kestrel over. (Harvey Sherwood).
