Minchinhampton Common     100+ Golden Plovers by the Reservoir at SO 85469 01183 at 7:45am today. (Jamie Warren).

WWT Slimbridge     The first-winter SCAUP still on the Rushy today. (Nigel Tucker).

Slimbridge     This morning around Shepherd’s Patch and Kingston Farm a male MERLIN, a Sparrowhawk, 14 Chaffinches, c60 Linnets, four Chiffchaffs, 30+ Fieldfares, two Mistle Thrushes, a Grey Wagtail, two Pied Wagtails and two Stock Doves. (Paul Masters).

Frampton    At Splatt Bridge/North reedbed flashes today, a Marsh Harrier over the 100-Acre, 39 Curlews, three Shelducks, nine Redshanks, two Stock Doves singing, a Great Black-backed Gull S, seven Black-headed Gulls, two Sparrowhawks and two Buzzards. (Paul Masters). On Court Lake a Goshawk chasing 18 Teal, a Great White Egret, 65 Tufted Ducks, 38 Gadwalls, two Wigeon, four Great Crested Grebes, 34 Greylags, six Canada Geese. Yesterday three Goldeneyes, two males. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Great White Egret this afternoon. (Duncan Dine).

Hawling & Hazleton     c30 Chaffinches with two Bramblings, five Yellowhammers, six Skylarks, 200+ Lapwings, 53 Fieldfares, a Kestrel, two Red Kites, three Buzzards, two Corn Buntings, 11 Long-tailed Tits and large flocks of Linnet and corvids. (Roy Kinchin). A Kestrel hovering over the A436/Hawling junction. (Howard Taylor).

Framilode     30+ Greenfinches in a pre-roost at St Peter’s Church. Nearby 42 Lapwings at Epney. (MK).

Cainscross     A murmuration of 300+ Starlings is roosting in the ivy at Tricorn House each evening and increasing in numbers at SO 83527 04976. (Malcolm Balster).

Highnam     Along the Hereford-Gloucester renovated canal at SO 813199, 500+ Starlings, 14 Fieldfares, a male Blackcap, a Cormorant and two Mute Swans. In the Lynton Farm area 150+ Chaffinches, 166 Fieldfares, 50+ Linnets, 60 Starlings, seven Stock Doves, two Chiffchaffs, 81 Woodpigeons. two Buzzards and 93 Mallards SO 802188. (John Fletcher).

Forest of Dean    A Marsh Tit in the garden again today at Mitcheldean. (Chris Keeling).

Cam     A Red Kite heading N at 11:50am today. (Jonathan Bull).
