WWT Slimbridge     The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Frampton     From Splatt Bridge a female MERLIN sat on a log on the foreshore, a hunting male Goshawk flew along the sea wall and a female Marsh Harrier patrolled the 100-Acre. On the flashes nine Redshanks and two Shelducks. (Terry Grant). This morning a drake Goldeneye, 14 Cormorants, two Little Egrets and a Grey Heron on the Sailing Lake. Also two Great Crested Grebes on Court Lake. (Steve Pullen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     An Oystercatcher from Grundon hide, first of the year. (Les Ditchburn).

Cheltenham     A Red Kite low over St Mark’s Church at 1:50pm. (Eric Harris). At Naunton Park, up to five Siskins roaming about back gardens for the last 8
days, three Blackcaps together and two Ravens, presumably the local breeding
pair. At Swindon Village, a Red Kite and a Buzzard over the playing field, a
singing Greenfinch and two Pied Wagtails. (Steve Brown).

Elmore     At the Elmore Court Rewilding Project birds today included a Green Sandpiper, six Snipe, 50 Common Gulls, three Stonechats, 100+ Fieldfares, 2+ Redwings and 16 Meadow Pipits. (Paul Masters/Nicki Barker/Steve Pullen).

Paganhill     Two Red Kites over Farmhill Lane at 1:45pm. (Julian Long).
