WWT Slimbridge     The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again. (Tim Jukes). A Water Rail showing well at Willow hide today. (Alex Handover).

Saul Warth     60+ Curlews, 80+ Meadow Pipits, a Rock Pipit, three Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, a pair of Ravens and a singing Skylark. A returning pair of Tufted Ducks on Saul Lodge pond. (MK).

Frampton     On the flashes N of Splatt Bridge ten Snipe over, nine Skylarks and a Raven on a goose carcase. A Marsh Harrier briefly over the 100-Acre. (MK).

Highnam Woods     This afternoon two Marsh Tits, four Coal Tits, two Nuthatches, a Goldcrest, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, seven Redwings, a Song Thrush, a Buzzard, two Ravens, two Jays and 15 mixed Blue Tits and Great Tits. (John Fletcher/Tom Berry).

Dowdeswell Reservoir    Three Cormorants on the superstructure today. (Howard Taylor).

Cotswolds    At Notgrove a Kestrel flew over the burial mound. At the A436/Brockhampton turn a Red Kite today. Another Red Kite at the A436 Shipton turn. A Red Kite soaring over the A40 at Andoversford. (Howard Taylor).

Cheltenham     Two Red Kites over Wyman’s Brook/Swindon Village at 12:50pm. Also  in the garden birds included a male Blackcap, a Coal Tit, four Redwings, c8 Goldfinches and 12+ Magpies. (Christopher Widdowson). A pair of Mute Swans flying over the Winchcombe Street/Fairview Road junction. (Howard Taylor).

Bourton-on-the-Water    c60 Black-headed Gulls on the River Windrush and banks early this afternoon. (Howard Taylor).
