Sharpness     A male BLACK REDSTART by the tallest building at the Docks at 10:30am. (Andy Jordan).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbeds an Egyptian Goose, a Little Grebe, three Green Sandpipers, c400+ Lapwings and eight Chiffchaffs today. An adult Mediterranean Gull on Pit 16. (David Creber).

Forest of Dean    At Cannop Ponds early morning six Goosanders, 13 Wigeon, a pair of Gadwalls, three Tufted Ducks, 16 Mandarins, two Little Grebes and two Canada Geese. (Thomas Chinnick). At Woorgreens two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, three Goosanders, c300 circling Siskins, c12 Lesser Redpolls with c12 Chaffinches, two Treecreepers, four Nuthatches and a singing Mistle Thrush. Dowdeswell     At Lineover and Dowdeswell Woods today two Marsh Tits, a Nuthatch, two Coal Tits, two Long-tailed Tits, 20+ mixed Blue Tits and Great Tits, a Treecreeper, two Song Thrushes, a Chaffinch, and three Cormorants and a Grey Heron on the reservoir. (Ian Davies).

Wotton-Under-Edge    At Bournestream woods N of Wotton a Marsh Tit with a mixed flock of up to eight Coal Tits, Long-tailed Tits, Blue Tits and Great Tits, c30 Chaffinches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, several Nuthatches, a Bullfinch and two Goldcrests. A Kestrel and a Buzzard in the area, and two Red-legged Partridges near Kingscote. (Paul Sutton).

Cheltenham    On Benhall Park this morning 10+ Redwings feeding with a Mistle Thrush. Also a Greater Spotted Woodpecker drumming in the trees by Benhall Brook. (David Norman).

Stonehouse     c6 Goldcrests feeding around ivy covered trees on the bike path between Skew Bridge and Bristol Road. (Mike Leahy).

Coombe Hill Meadows     16 Mute Swans, 150 Canada Geese, nine Shelducks, at least 2000 Wigeon, 27 Gadwalls, at least 1600 Teal, 60 Mallards, at least 150 Pintails, at least 200 Shovelers, 16 Tufted Ducks, a Little Egret, 30 Coots, an Oystercatcher, 80 Lapwings, a Black-tailed Godwit, 50 Black-headed Gulls, at least one Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, a Skylark singing, at least four Song Thrushes in full song and at least one Cetti’s Warbler singing, maybe three.
