WWT Slimbridge     The first-winter drake SCAUP on the Rushy again. (Slimbridge Sightings). A MERLIN on the Top New Piece viewed from the Zeiss hide. (Roberta Goodall).

Poulton     Two Grey Partridges hunkered down in a field E of Bell Lane, N of Poulton and the first singing Yellowhammer of the year. (John Durell).

Cleeve Hill     At least five Bramblings with c50 Chaffinches on the approach road. A Red Kite over the common. (Eric Harris).

Hawling     A Barn Owl, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Red Kite, a Buzzard and lots of Fieldfares and Redwings. (Eric Harris).

Saul Warth this afternoon, pretty quiet in warm sunshine, 73 Shelducks, 52 Curlews, a Chiffchaff and a Grey Heron. A Kingfisher and three Tufted Ducks on Saul Lodge pond. (MK).

Bentham    This morning two Ravens, four Buzzards over, a Jay and a Kestrel. A Green Woodpecker calling and a Chiffchaff heard and two Song Thrushes. In Chargrove Lane a Little Owl in large dead tree in field  opposite the cricket ground. Also a Green Woodpecker heard and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (John Casswell).

Longney Crib     This afternoon 135 Lapwings, 90+ Skylarks, two Ravens, 400+ Black-headed Gulls, 105 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, four Herring Gulls, three Great Black-backed Gulls, a Cormorant and a Grey Heron. (John Fletcher).

Gloucester     A Water Rail and at least two Chiffchaffs at Saintbridge Pond today. (John Elley).

Winchcombe     Late afternoon 12 Red Kites circling and hunting above Winchcombe on the Kenelm, Sudeley Hill. (John Kime).

Upham Meadow     Late afternoon, all flooding gone two Mute Swans, 112 Canada Geese, a Grey Heron and 42 Carrion Crows. (Mike Smart).

Hatherley     A Green Woodpecker on the lawn today. (Michael Beer).
