Bentham This morning two Ravens, four Buzzards over, a Jay and a Kestrel. A Green Woodpecker calling and a Chiffchaff heard and two Song Thrushes. In Chargrove Lane a Little Owl in large dead tree in field opposite the cricket ground. Also a Green Woodpecker heard and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (John Casswell).
Longney Crib This afternoon 135 Lapwings, 90+ Skylarks, two Ravens, 400+ Black-headed Gulls, 105 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, four Herring Gulls, three Great Black-backed Gulls, a Cormorant and a Grey Heron. (John Fletcher).
