Stroud     The female Goosander on the Stroudwater Canal near Capel’s Mill this morning. (Seb Buckton). A pair of Dippers on River Frome viewed from the bridge by the picture framing shop. (Simon Ashley).

WWT Slimbridge     The drake SCAUP on the Rushy again. (Jonathan Bull).

Salperton     c30 Corn Buntings in trees this afternoon. (Jeremy Holland).

Cotswold Water Park East    Two Marsh Harriers, at least one male at Pit 132 today. (Martin McGill/Jeremy Squire).

Frampton     At Splatt Bridge this afternoon, a Marsh Harrier, a Buzzard and a Kestrel, on the flashes 50+ Curlews, six Redshanks and eight Shelducks. Also three Song Thrushes, 25 Fieldfares, ten Redwings, a Little Egret and two Stock Doves. (Steve Pullen). At the pools this afternoon a Great White Egret, three Little Egrets, two Grey Herons, 14 Cormorants, 40 Greylags, 70 Tufted Ducks, 30+ Gadwalls, 25 Linnets and a Cetti’s Warbler. (Nigel Young/MK).

Dursley     40+ Golden Plovers at 3:45pm coming into the fields above Whiteway Hill on the A4135 and the junction of Bath Road towards Nympsfield at ST795966. (Jon Dexter).

Daglingworth    55+ Golden Plovers in a field between Jackbarrow Farm and Winstone this afternoon. (Jon Mercer).

Forest of Dean     From Campbell Hide, Nagshead at 3pm a FIRECREST, three Nuthatches, two Siskins, a Redwing, a Song Thrush and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. Just N of the car park S of Crabtree Hill (W of the lake) at least 50 Siskins at 1pm, c8 Goosanders and c15 Teal on the lake. (Simon Stuart). 100+ Siskins, five Crossbills, three Lesser Redpolls and a displaying Goshawk between Crabtree Hill and Serridge Inclosure. 125 Mandarins on Cannop Ponds. (Pete & Marjo Lewis).

Gloucester    A pair of Peregrines on the Cathedral mid morning but were spooked by someone walking on the tower roof, they circled low over Kingsholm stadium then seemed to drop in. (Paul Sutton).

Prestbury    In Mill Lane four Buzzards together, a male Sparrowhawk, a Green Woodpecker, five Siskins, a calling Nuthatch, a Raven, two Goldcrests and a Marsh Tit calling. (Ken Heron).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon birds included 206 Teal, 95 Wigeon, five Pintails, three Shovelers, a Snipe, 94 Lapwings, 84 Mallards, a Grey Heron, two Mute Swans, two Buzzards and a Peregrine. (John Fletcher).

Cheltenham     A pair of Goldfinches nesting on the High Street outside the entrance to Regents Arcade. (Howard Taylor).

Dowdeswell    A Cormorant perched on the reservoir superstructure. From the A436 a Buzzard soaring by the dismantled railway line. (Howard Taylor).

Bourton-on-the-Water     At Jubilee Lodge four Redwings on the verges and c30 Black-headed Gulls on the River Windrush. (Howard Taylor).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Four Mute Swans, eight Shelducks, 400 Wigeon, 500 Teal, two Gadwalls, 20 Mallards, 5+ Pintails, 10+ Shovelers, five Lapwings, a Snipe, a JACK SNIPE and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming. (Mike Smart).
