Newent Woods/May Hill     This morning ten Crossbills in the trees at the top of May Hill and four more in the woods. Also 22 Meadow Pipits and two Mistle Thrushes on the top. In the woods six Siskins, a male Bullfinch and three Roe Deer. (Paul Masters/MK).

WWT Slimbridge     From the Estuary Tower at least six DARK-BELLIED BRENT GEESE with the Barnacle Goose flock. (Slimbridge Sightings).  Also a MERLIN and a Peregrine at 9:30am. (Mark Dowie).

Gloucester    The male BLACK REDSTART still on the Cathedral today. (Mark Hobson/Sam Walker).

Frampton pools     At 12:30pm a Great White Egret, a Raven, a Kingfisher and Siskins. (Mark Dowie). Four Goldeneyes (2 ad male, 1 juv male, 1f), 99 Tufted Ducks, 28 Gadwalls, a pair of Shovelers, 51 Greylags, two Barnacle Geese, ten Canada Geese, 94 Coots, 17 Mallards and 40 Golden Plovers over. Awre     This morning 120 Curlews, four Oystercatchers, five Redshanks, 20 Bewick’s Swans, a Kestrel and a Peregrine. (David Smith).

Forest of Dean     At Woorgreens 16 Goosanders (1m, 15f), a Goshawk, a Sparrowhawk and 3 or 4 Mistle Thrushes singing today. (Dot Jones). Bramblings at Serridge Ridge this afternoon. (Owen Follis). At Berry Hill this morning, at least six Lesser Redpolls, a garden first, on feeders with Siskins, Goldfinches, Greenfinches and Chaffinches. (Nicola Jones).

Leckhampton Hill     Two Yellowhammers, a Goldcrest, a Jay and Raven over today. (Eric Harris).

Ashleworth Ham     A Mute Swan, 30 Greylags, ten Wigeon, 320 Teal, 40 Mallards, three Pintails, two Shovelers, two Buzzards, a male Sparrowhawk and 105 Lapwings. (Mike Smart).

Wheatenhurst    From the Thames and Severn Way footpath between Wheatenhurst and the A38 a Kestrel, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers and two Little Egrets. (John Elley).
