WWT Slimbridge     The WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER showing well again South Lake today. Also 34 Avocets. The first-winter drake SCAUP still on the Rushy. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Elmore     At the Elmore Court Rewilding Project birds today included 16 Mallards, 19 Teal, 11 Stock Doves, a JACK SNIPE, 54 Snipe, a Green Sandpiper, c100 Black-headed Gulls, c100 Common Gulls, a Grey Heron, a Red Kite, two Buzzards, two Ravens, seven Skylarks, five Redwings, 17 Fieldfares, three Stonechats, 37 Meadow Pipits, five Lesser Redpolls, c150 Goldfinches and c20 Siskins. Claypits     A Barn Owl at 5:17am. (Jamie Warren).

Damery     Late afternoon a Dipper and a Grey Wagtail. (Paul Rich).

Frampton pools    A pair of Oystercatchers and a Great White Egret this afternoon Court Lake. (Roy Shilham).

Brimscombe     Two Dippers on the River Frome by the Knapp Lane bridge E of Brimscombe and a Little Egret on the canal E of the bridge. (Trevor & Sue Clayson).

Forest of Dean    Two Crossbills at Wigpool Common, another couple at Mallards Pike and a Woodcock flushed from bracken at Moseley Green. (Andy Jayne).  A few Siskins in the trees at the top of Crabtree Hill amongst a tit flock today. (Chris Snook).
