WWT Slimbridge     The WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER showing well again South Lake today. Also a MERLIN from Estuary Tower. (Slimbridge Sightings). A SPOONBILL flew N over the Rushy at 10:25am towards Frampton. (Tim McGrath). A Goldcrest inside the Martin Smith hide, five Snipe from the Zeiss hide and a Great Spotted Woodpecker from Willow hide. The Snow Goose with Barnacle Geese and two Cranes from the Estuary Tower. (Sarah Townsend).

Itlay   This afternoon at least 20 Yellowhammers and four Little Egrets in the stream in Daglingworth. (Martine & Pete Fenn).

Wotton-Under-Edge     A Red Kite above Synwell in this morning. (Jamie Warren).

Stroud     A Dipper and a Grey Wagtail on the River Frome today. (Alan McIlquham).

Coombe Hill Meadows     44 Greylags;, 5+ Shelducks, 467 Wigeon, at least 100 Teal, eight Gadwalls, 20 Mallards, 12 Pintails, 32+ Shovelers, a Buzzard, ten Coots, three Lapwings, a Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming, two Skylarks, 20+ Fieldfares, five Carrion Crows, at least singing five Reed Buntings and two Roe Deer. Twyning     At Upham Meadow four Greylags, 94 Canada Geese, six Mallards, a Grey Heron, two male Peregrines, two Oystercatchers, two Snipe, a Curlew (with yellow flag AC, ringed here in April 2021 and known to have wintered on the Gower Peninsula) 25 Carrion Crows, five Rooks and five Skylarks.
