Forest of Dean At Cannop Ponds this morning two Dippers, five Grey Wagtails, two Pied Wagtails, ten Wigeon, five Tufted Ducks, four Greylags, five Song Thrushes, a Mistle Thrush, three Treecreepers, a Siskin on the feeders and a Water Rail out in the open before skulking back into the reeds. Frampton pools 22 Sand Martins, three Egyptian Geese, two pairs of Mandarins, 76 Tufted Ducks, six Gadwalls, 24 Teal, two Little Grebes, an Oystercatcher, 100+ Fieldfares, 50+ Redwings, 30+ Starlings, 34 Pied Wagtails, four Grey Herons and four Meadow Pipits today. (Nick Goatman).
