Forest of Dean     At Cannop Ponds this morning two Dippers, five Grey Wagtails, two Pied Wagtails, ten Wigeon, five Tufted Ducks, four Greylags, five Song Thrushes, a Mistle Thrush, three Treecreepers, a Siskin on the feeders and a Water Rail out in the open before skulking back into the reeds. (Ant Dobbs). At Mitcheldean a Marsh Tit on the the bird table and a male and female Bullfinch in the garden. (Chris Keeling).

Frampton pools     22 Sand Martins, three Egyptian Geese, two pairs of Mandarins, 76 Tufted Ducks, six Gadwalls, 24 Teal, two Little Grebes, an Oystercatcher, 100+ Fieldfares, 50+ Redwings, 30+ Starlings, 34 Pied Wagtails, four Grey Herons and four Meadow Pipits today. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     Two Sand Martins over South Lake and two over the Tack Piece, maybe the same. (James Robinson/Francis Steuck/Tim McGrath). A Treecreeper on South Finger walkway this morning. (Martin Price).

Saul Warth     At high tide 70+ Shelducks, 50+ Curlews, 14 Dunlins, 11 Oystercatchers, two Meadow Pipits and two Skylarks. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     At first light seven Curlews, all departed by 7:30am, three Oystercatchers, three Redshanks, a male Ruff, seven Dunlins and two Reed Buntings singing. (Mike Smart/Jeremy Holland).

Twyning     At Upham Meadow five Mute Swans, two male Peregrines and four Curlews, two colour ringed. (Mike Smart).
