Twyning     The second-winter ICELAND GULL on the Great Hay Meadow again from 9:15-9:30am viewed from Dock Lane picnic site, Bredon (Worcs) but always quite distant. (Les Ditchburn). It returned at 1:31pm to the gull roost but only for an hour before flying off over the motorway. Also 12 Curlews, one with yellow tags, seven Shovelers (4m, 3f), a Red Kite, three Buzzards, a pair of Oystercatchers and a Kingfisher. (MK).

Frampton pools     81 Pied Wagtails, 50+ Sand Martins, 100+ Fieldfares, 20+ Redwings, two Oystercatchers, a juvenile male Goldeneye, 76 Tufted Ducks, a Gadwall, a male Shoveler and a Siskin today. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     Four Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake today.  (Slimbridge Sightings/Martin Price).

Stinchcombe Hill    A Crossbill, 10+ Skylarks, 20+ Common Gulls, a male Bullfinch and a Green Woodpecker this morning. (Mike Davis).

Forest of Dean     A Red Kite over Whitecroft today and a female Sparrowhawk in Blakeney. (Ted Harris).

Westbury-on-Severn     This morning 7+ Sand Martins, a pair of Kestrels, two Goldcrests, a Grey Wagtail, a Treecreeper and several singing Chiffchaffs. (David Smith).

Cotswolds     This afternoon a Corn Bunting singing at Hazleton, also a Buzzard and a Red Kite. At Compton Abdale a Buzzard and 2+ Skylarks. 10+ Red-legged Partridges at Hawling. (Alan Hooper).

Ebley    A pair of Mandarins just E of Ebley Mill today. (Paul Sutton).

Stroud    At least four pairs of Dippers along the River Frome between Stroud and Chalford. (Paul Sutton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A pair of Mute Swans, ten Canada Geese, 289+ Wigeon, ten Gadwalls, 100 Teal, 20 Mallards, six Pintails, at least 62 Shovelers, 14 Tufted Ducks, two Little Grebes, a Peregrine, 30 Coots, two Oystercatchers, ten Lapwings, three Dunlins, 261 Black-tailed Godwits, two Curlews, two Redshanks, 145 Fieldfares and 20 Redwings, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Blackcap, at least six Chiffchaffs, 28 Carrion Crows and 3 or 4 Reed Buntings. Cobney Meadows     Two Shelducks. 18 Pintails, two Oystercatchers, seven Curlews, a Little Owl and a Chiffchaff singing. (Mike Smart).
