WWT Slimbridge     A drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL mostly on the Knott hide pool, but occasionally mobile between hides. (Scott Petrek). Frampton     On the flashes N of Splatt Bridge early morning 70+ Curlews, two Dunlins, three Oystercatchers, 16 Gadwalls, five Teal, five Shovelers, 33 Shelducks, a pair of Wigeon, five Mandarins, a Sand Martin, a Sparrowhawk and a distant Marsh Harrier over WWT. (MK). Around the pools still 80+Fieldfares, 80+ Sand Martins, a juvenile male Goldeneye, 68 Pied Wagtails, 44 Tufted Ducks, five Great Crested Grebes, a Kingfisher, two Nuthatches, three Grey Herons and 20+ Chiffchaffs. Cirencester    Lots of Hawfinch activity in the yews of Abbey Grounds car park today. (Ed Drewitt). A Barn Owl flew across the A419 from Bathurst estate near the Coates turning at 8:35pm. (Paul Sutton).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A second-winter Mediterranean Gull dropped in with a small flock of Black-headed and Common Gulls at 6pm. Also four Dunlins and four Sand Martins. (Andy Jayne).

Ashleworth Ham     Three Oystercatchers, a male Mandarin, two Shelducks, five Canada Geese, six Greylags, three Gadwalls, 12 Pintails, 65 Wigeon, six Teal, four Chaffinches, a Chiffchaff singing, 47 Carrion Crows and a Buzzard. Also two Roe Deer. (John Fletcher).

Gloucester     A Peregrine pair showing well and vocal on and around the central tower of the Cathedral at 1:10pm today. (Nikki Smith). At Horsebere Brook Flood Storage Area three Teal, three Mallards, two Reed Buntings, two Linnets, 10+ Meadow Pipits, seven Pied Wagtails, a Buzzard and 20 Stock Dove on the mound. (Paul Brunt).

Lydney     Along the river from the Harbour this morning three Wheatears, 30 Shelducks, 100 Curlews, ten Redshanks, a Rock Pipit and a Cetti’s Warbler heard. (David Smith).

Chedworth     A male Wheatear and male Stonechat on the airfield this afternoon, also mobile flocks of Skylarks and Linnets. Nearby in arable fields a 60+ mixed finch flock including 22 Yellowhammers feeding in the shelter of a dense hedgerow. Also the first Spring Lapwing back on a traditional site. (Harvey Sherwood).

Breadstone     In local woods this morning birds included a Goldcrest, a Treecreeper, two Coal Tits, a Mistle Thrush, c25 Fieldfares, a pair of displaying Buzzards and a Peregrine over. (Chris Newton).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Brook 29 Black-tailed Godwits, 78 Wigeon, 23 Shovelers, eight Pintails and two Little Egrets (Dan Gornall).

Minsterworth Ham     Four pairs of Mallards, a pair of Shovelers, three Cormorants, two Buzzards, four Curlews, 3-4 singing Skylarks, 110 Fieldfares, nine Lesser Black-backed Gulls and two Herring Gulls on the ground and up to 100 in flight, 50 Black-headed Gulls and 50 Carrion Crows on arable; 7+ Chiffchaffs singing and 100 Starlings.
