WWT Slimbridge    A WILLOW WARBLER singing in the NE corner of the Tack Piece at 10:20am. (Martin McGill). On the Dumbles at high tide six Bar-tailed Godwits, a Little Ringed Plover and a Ringed Plover. Still 196 White-fronted Geese on the Tack Piece. (Slimbridge Sightings). A pair of Goldeneyes on the Long Ground Pool. (Ian Hull).

Saul Warth     At 6:30am a male Wheatear, five Bar-tailed Godwits, 12 Oystercatchers, five Dunlins, 120+ Curlews, 12 Common Gulls, seven Pintails, a Great Crested Grebe on the river, a calling Red-legged Partridge, a Sand Martin and two Chiffchaffs. (MK).

Frampton     Along the canal and flashes N of Splatt Bridge 26 Shelducks, 27 Gadwalls, six Shovelers, a female Teal, a pair of Pintails, a Little Egret, a male Reed Bunting, 4+ Chiffchaffs, a Cetti’s Warbler and a Redwing by Fretherne bridge. (MK).

Cirencester     Four Hawfinches in Abbey Grounds car park at 11:15am. (Malcolm Royal).

Thrupp     A pair of Buzzards chasing a Red Kite, a pair of Mandarins between Griffin’s Mill lock and Ham Mill lock. Also Goldcrests, a Jay, a pair of Grey Wagtails and the female Goosander at Bowbridge. (Paul Sutton).

Stroud     A pair of Grey Wagtails and a Dipper on the Frome behind Lodgemore. (Paul Sutton).

Cam Green     A Little Owl a regular garden visitor this month, usually around midday. Also a Brimstone in the garden. (Brian Kings).

Dudbridge     Two Peregrines over at 12:30pm. (Steve Pullen).
