Saul Warth     At high tide this morning a Ringed Plover, four Bar-tailed Godwits, three Black-tailed Godwits, 120+ Curlews, a Redshank, 12 Oystercatchers and a Dunlin. (MK).

Frampton    On the flashes N of Splatt Bridge, a Peregrine hunting, male Tufted Duck, five Redwings, a Grey Wagtail and four Sand Martins. Any early Skylark nests were flooded. (MK). This morning at the pools a Blackcap was singing at the S end of Court Lake and 60+ Sand Martins at 10:30am. (Roy Bircher).

WWT Slimbridge     On South Lake 133 Avocets and 500+Black-tailed Godwits this morning. A Swallow and 19 Sand Martins over South Lake late afternoon. Two Great White Egrets on the Bottom New Piece. From the Estuary Tower a Marsh Harrier hunting the fields, five Mediterranean Gulls, ten Grey Plovers, six Bar-tailed Godwits, eight unringed Cranes and seven Dunlins. Aylburton Warth     Over high tide a Little Ringed Plover, a Golden Plover, a Snipe, pairs of Oystercatchers and Lapwings, c200 Curlews, five Redshanks, adult and second-summer Mediterranean Gulls, c1000 Common Gulls, 40 Shelducks and two Sparrowhawks. (Andy Jayne).

Nailsworth     Five House Martins flew N at 1pm, 450+ Common Gulls flew S, 7+ Buzzards, a Red Kite and three Sparrowhawks, two males chasing each other and a female in the garden and 20+ Siskins on the feeders. A Willow Warbler just outside the garden. (Terry Grant).

Gloucester     A Peregrine circling over Wotton Pitch this morning. (Howard Taylor).

Standish     A Red Kite over the M5 at 1pm. (Jamie Warren).

Hasfield Ham      Two pairs of Curlews (one of the males Blue Red Red, which has returned every spring since it was ringed on the estuary in 2010). Also at least 147 Carrion Crows. (Mike Smart).

Maisemore     From Court Lake and upstream from the weir this afternoon birds included two Tufted Ducks, 14 Mallards, two Canada Geese, two Mute Swans, four Coots, four Moorhens, a Grey Heron, a Cormorant, two Buzzards, a Nuthatch, two Chaffinches, eight Goldfinches, a Green Woodpecker, five Skylarks, two Song Thrushes and three Chiffchaffs.
