Chedworth     Two Wheatears late afternoon on the Airfield. (David Creber).

Frampton     On the flashes N of Splatt Bridge early morning 80+ Curlews, 21 Oystercatchers, eight Bar-tailed Godwits, four Black-tailed Godwits, six Redshanks, 18 Gadwalls, a pair of Shovelers, 250+ Black-headed Gulls, 12 Common Gulls, four Sand Martins and 10+ Chiffchaffs. Also a SPOONBILL and a Great White Egret in flight over the 100-Acre. (Gordon Hodgson).

Little Witcombe     A Swallow this morning. (Cottia Howard/Caroline Hope).

Halmore     This morning in the fields seven Chiffchaffs, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Song Thrush and a singing Mistle Thrush. Around local woods two Song Thrushes, a Nuthatch, two Ravens, two Buzzards and two male Brimstones. (Chris Newton).

Barton End lay-by     At least seven Wheatears (5 males, 2 females) and two Red Kites. (Terry Grant).

Nympsfield     A Barn Owl hunting at dusk at the junction of Bath Road and the B4058. (David Price).

Witcombe Reservoirs     A Red Kite, a Buzzard, two Stock Doves, nine Great Crested Grebes, 12 Cormorants, two Grey Herons, a Chiffchaff and two Greenfinches. (Eric Harris).

Brimscombe     From the garden this afternoon a Red Kite, a female Sparrowhawk, a Raven over Stringers Wood being mobbed by Crows and several Buzzards displaying. (Nikki Smith).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Two Mute Swans, two Greylags, five Canada Geese, two Shelducks, 262 Wigeon, 12 Gadwalls, 150 Teal, 30 Mallards, ten Pintails, 75 Shovelers, 12 Tufted Ducks, two Grey Herons, a Little Egret, a Little Grebe, 30 Coots, four Oystercatchers, six Lapwings, four Curlews, three Redshanks, two Skylarks, two Cetti’s Warblers, two Blackcaps, 6+ Chiffchaffs and two Reed Buntings. Cobney Meadows     Five Canada Geese, nine Shelducks, five Wigeon, three Gadwalls, four Pintails, two Oystercatchers and two Curlews. (Mike Smart).
