WWT Slimbridge     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL displaying to Eurasian Teal on the Bottom New Piece. First summer male Goldeneye and 797 Black-tailed Godwits on South Lake. A Red Kite over S at midday. A Willow Warbler singing in the Duck Decoy. (Slimbridge Sightings). An adult Mediterranean Gull on South Lake and nine Little Egrets on the Top New Piece. (Ian Sherriffs).

Frampton pools     A WHITE WAGTAIL on Court field this evening, and around the pools two Oystercatchers, a Ross’s Goose, 20 Barnacle Geese, 65 Tufted Ducks, two Shovelers, four Siskins, 12 Chiffchaffs, four Blackcaps, three Stock Doves, four Buzzards, two Mandarins and a Treecreeper. (Nick Goatman).

Cleeve Hill     A male Wheatear this morning. Also Meadow Pipits, Skylarks and a Raven. (Les Ditchburn/Ian Sherriffs/Alan McIlquham).

Hawling     A Barn Owl, a Red Kite, c150 Golden Plovers  and a Roe Deer today. (Alan McIlquham).

Sharpness     Early evening a GREY SEAL swimming against the tide. Also a Reed Bunting, Rock Pipits and a Small Tortoiseshell. (Clare Glanville).

Nailsworth     Two Swallows flying N at 6:15pm. (Terry Grant).

Edge     At Rudge Hill NNR this afternoon two Nuthatches, two Green Woodpeckers, two Buzzards, three Chiffchaffs and a Song Thrush. (John Fletcher).
