Sharpness     A pair of Goosanders on the canal between Sharpness and Purton then flew off E. (Andrew Jordan).

Chavenage Lane area     A male MERLIN, a female Goshawk, a male Sparrowhawk, a male Peregrine, two Kestrels, 35+ Buzzards, four Red Kites and 22 hirundines flying N in one flock, including at least four Swallows. (Terry Grant).

Frampton     A Ring-necked Parakeet flew over Vicarage Lane, calling, mid-afternoon. (Sue Spurr).

Coombe Hill Meadows    Four Mute Swans, ten Canada Geese, three Shelducks, 95 Wigeon, six Gadwalls, 200 Teal, 15 Mallards, four Pintails, 47 Shovelers, ten Tufted Ducks, two Great Crested Grebes, at least four Little Grebes, two Oystercatchers, eight Lapwings, two male Ruffs, a Curlew, a Snipe, four Redshanks, a Swallow, two Cetti’s Warblers, two Blackcaps, a Willow Warbler, at least ten Chiffchaffs and five Reed Buntings today. Cobney Meadows     Five Mute Swans, six Canada Geese, 15 Wigeon, ten Teal, ten Mallards, five Tufted Ducks, two Grey Herons, two Oystercatchers and three Curlews. (Mike Smart).

Cheltenham     A Cormorant over Pittville Lawn early this morning. (Howard Taylor).

Forest of Dean     A Kestrel hovering over fields in Lower Mitcheldean this afternoon. (Chris Keeling).
