Frampton     Around the pools at lunchtime ten Sand Martins, a White Wagtail with 25 Pied Wagtails on Court field,95 Tufted Ducks, three Buzzards, two Oystercatchers, two Cormorants, six Great Crested Grebes, two Meadow Pipits, 48 Barnacle Geese and a Ross’s Goose. (Nick Goatman).

Chavenage Lane area     A SHORT-EARED OWL flew N, being mobbed by a Red Kite at Barton End. The owl doubled back with the Kite still chasing it and eventually appeared to land in a field  off Chavenage Lane after the Kite came under attack from a Crow. Also, a male Wheatear at Barton End.
