Frampton     Around the pools at lunchtime ten Sand Martins, a White Wagtail with 25 Pied Wagtails on Court field,95 Tufted Ducks, three Buzzards, two Oystercatchers, two Cormorants, six Great Crested Grebes, two Meadow Pipits, 48 Barnacle Geese and a Ross’s Goose. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge     The drake GARGANEY on the Tack Piece. Four Willow Warblers along the South Finger Walkway. Two Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Nailsworth     Three Red Kites today. (Terry Grant).

Chavenage Lane area     A SHORT-EARED OWL flew N, being mobbed by a Red Kite at Barton End. The owl doubled back with the Kite still chasing it and eventually appeared to land in a field  off Chavenage Lane after the Kite came under attack from a Crow. Also, a male Wheatear at Barton End. (Terry Grant).
