WWT Slimbridge     A drake GARGANEY on the Tack Piece today and later it or another on the Rushy. A SPOONBILL around the grounds still. (Slimbridge Sightings/Les Ditchburn). A Spotted Redshank on the Rushy this morning. (Roberta Goodall). A 2nd calendar-year Mediterranean Gull on the Top New Piece. Five unringed Common Cranes on the Dumbles. (Andy Chapman/Paul Masters). A Great White Egret on meadows beyond the Tack Piece and a Little Ringed Plover on the Rushy this afternoon. (Geoff Fawcett).

Saul Warth     At high tide this morning eight Grey Plovers, five Bar-tailed Godwits, 45 Curlews, seven Oystercatchers, 16 Dunlins, a Ringed Plover and five Sand Martins. A Willow Warbler singing and four Swallows flew N along the canal. (MK).

Elmore Back     Five Fieldfares today. (Mike Smart).

Cherington     On the lake and in woodland areas this afternoon two Nuthatches, a Redwing, a male Blackcap, four Chiffchaffs, a Song Thrush, four Moorhens, two Jays, a male Grey Wagtail, a Grey Heron, six Mallards, two Canada Geese, two Mute Swans and three Buzzards. (John Fletcher/Jake King).
