Forest of Dean A Tree Pipit at Crabtree Hill this morning. (Geoff Fawcett). A male Pied Flycatcher showing well this afternoon at Lower hide, Nagshead. (Martin Vaisey).
Aylburton This afternoon at Stockwell Lane 30 Shelducks, three Mallards, two Grey Herons, two Skylarks and three Swallows. On the Common at 5pm three Blackcaps singing. (Martin Vaisey).
Walmore Common A pair of Great White Egrets this morning. (David Smith).
Berkeley shore This morning a male Wheatear, a Reed Warbler and a Whimbrel. (Paul Taylor).
Tresham Early morning three Wheatears, two Corn Buntings, two Yellowhammers, a pair of Stonechats, a Stock Dove and a Little Owl. (Paul Rich).
Frampton At 7am 250+ Sand Martins, 20+ Swallows and a House Martin dropped in. Also a pair of Oystercatchers and a Shelduck on Court Lake. (MK). This evening around the pools Sand Martins increased to 500+, an unringed Common Crane over, a Common Sandpiper, a Kingfisher and the Ross’s Goose. (Nick Goatman). At Splatt Bridge this morning 51 Curlews, six Bar-tailed Godwits, four Oystercatchers, a Whimbrel, a Red Kite, a Reed Warbler, a Sedge Warbler, 20+ Chiffchaffs and five Willow Warblers.
