Cleeve Hill      At least five RING OUZELS this morning, 12 Yellowhammers, 3+ Stonechats, at least four singing Willow Warblers, three Wheatears, 20+ Skylarks, eight Meadow Pipits and a Sparrowhawk. A Redstart and a Tree Pipit on Prestbury Hill Reserve. On the approach road to the masts a Fieldfare and two Red-legged Partridges. (Mike Davis/Andy Wiggins/Tom Mabbett/David Lawrence/Keith Davies).

Sharpness     A female-type BLACK REDSTART around the SARA building today. (James Robinson).

Dudbridge     An OSPREY flew over fairly high heading E then SE at 8am. (Steve Pullen).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A drake GARGANEY still today, three Little Egrets, a Great Crested Grebe, a Little Ringed Plover, a Little Owl, 3+ Buzzards, a Whitethroat, 3+ Sedge Warblers  a House Martin, a Swallow and a Redstart. (Ian Ralphs/Paul Clark).

Ashleworth Ham     From the hide a pair of GARGANEYS, a Great Crested Grebe, eight Shovelers, two Curlews and two Tufted Ducks. (Richard Humphrey).

WWT Slimbridge     A GARGANEY on the Estuary Tower scrape and two Wheatears on the cross fence. (Jeanne Vitkovskis).

Maisemore     Near the River Leadon four Avocets, two Shelducks, 60+ Sand Martins and a Kingfisher. (Richard Humphrey).

Forest of Dean     A Cuckoo calling at Edge Hills this afternoon. (Owen Follis). Two female Goosanders, a pair of Grey Wagtails and a Dipper at the lower Cannop Pond. (Geoff Fawcett).

Barnsley Warren     A male Wheatear today. (Duncan Dine).

Cotswold Water Park East     A Whimbrel low over Pit 132 calling loudly. Also two Oystercatchers, two Little Ringed Plovers, a Snipe, four Shelducks, eight Red Crested Pochard, a Great White Egret, three Sedge Warblers, several Willow Warblers and Blackcaps, a moderate number of hirundines, including a House Martin. Cotswold Water Park West     A Common Sandpiper around the edge of Pit 79 at Shorncote. (David Creber).

Whittington     This afternoon at Puckham Scrubs (the hill above Whittington) at SP01252247 a singing male Redstart and 20 Fieldfares. (Martine Fenn).

Saul Warth     This afternoon very quiet 50 Curlews, three Bar-tailed Godwits, five Oystercatchers, 10+ Sand Martins, a Meadow Pipit displaying, six Linnets, a Chiffchaff and seven Buzzards. Butterflies included Brimstone, Large White, Green-veined White, Small Tortoiseshell and Orange Tip. (MK).

Frampton    Along the canal and on the flashes a Great White Egret, a Little Egret, a pair of Gadwall, five Shelducks, a Cormorant, three Oystercatchers, three Black-tailed Godwits, 70+ Sand Martins and a Swallow flew N and a Little Owl calling from the village. (MK).

Aylburton     In Stockwell Lane this afternoon birds included a Reed Warbler, three Cetti’s Warblers, a Chiffchaff, a Little Egret, a Swallow and four Shelducks. A flock of 24 Linnets on the Common. (Martin Vaisey).

Cheltenham     A Willow Warbler in partial song this morning at Pittville Lawn. (Howard Taylor).

Nailsworth     13 summer plumaged Golden Plovers and two male Wheatears at Barton End. (Terry Grant).

Turkdean     A Barn Owl made a kill this afternoon. (Andy Lewis).

Dursley     A Red Kite over at 4pm. (Shane Long).

Forthampton     A Red Kite, two Curlews, five Sand Martins by the colony and a Redstart singing. (Mike Smart).
