Highnam Woods     A singing NIGHTINGALE this morning. (Dave Stone).

Bentham     This morning a Whitethroat, three Blackcaps, a Willow Warbler, Chiffchaffs, two Greenfinches, a Reed Bunting, a Song Thrush, Mallard, Coot and Moorhen on the pools. A Great Spotted Woodpecker, six Green Woodpeckers, Linnets, two Mistle Thrushes, a Buzzard, a Peregrine, two Sparrowhawk and two Ravens. (Sam Walker).

Frampton     A GRASSHOPPER WARBLER reeling in the reedbed N of Splatt Bridge at 7:30-8am, three drake GARGANEYS on the pool behind the reedbed at 9am, two Whimbrels heard, 43 Black-tailed Godwits flew noisily N, nine Oystercatchers, 29 Sand Martins and five Swallows flew N, a Reed Warbler, a Sedge Warbler, two Cetti’s Warblers and a Common Sandpiper on the canal. (MK). A male Redstart by the private lake near the church. (Shane Long). At the pools a Garden Warbler, three Reed Warblers and a female Marsh Harrier over S. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge    A Yellow Wagtail, three White Wagtails and a Pied Wagtail and a GARGANEY on the Tack Piece, best viewed from Robbie Garnett hide. (Martin McGill). The Spotted Redshank still on the Tack Piece. (Tom Mabbett). A drake Goldeneye on the Eider pen. (Molly Gould).

Cleeve Hill     Three RING OUZELS (1m, 2f), three Yellowhammers, a male Stonechat, two Song Thrushes, four Blackbirds, four Linnets, two Buzzards, three Meadow Pipits, six Skylarks, four Willow Warblers and two Chiffchaffs. At Prestbury Hill reserve a singing male Redstart. (David Lawrence). Three Yellow Wagtails by the heather enclosure. (Alan McIlquham).

Ashleworth Ham     Eight Teal, six Shovelers, three Gadwalls, a drake Pintail, four Greylags, a Canada Goose, two Great Crested Grebes and five Oystercatchers. (David Lawrence).

Stinchcombe Hill    A RING OUZEL around the 16th green still, calling from cover this morning. Also three Wheatears, five singing Willow Warblers, a Swallow and a small movement of Linnets and a Tree Pipit over W. (James Robinson). Later four Wheatears, a Buzzard, two Pied Wagtails, five Willow Warblers, three Chiffchaffs, three Song Thrushes, 18 Skylarks and a Nuthatch. (Dean Reeves & Karen Jayne).

Cirencester   A Red Kite flew over the fire station at 5:30pm, drifting towards Waitrose. (Paul Sutton).

Forest of Dean    A Red Kite over lower Mitcheldean fields at 7am today, a Buzzard circling, a Song Thrush singing and a Chiffchaff calling. (Chris Keeling).

Cheltenham    In the Norwood area the resident Raven pair, four Jays, a pair
of Stock Doves and another heard and a Nuthatch heard. (Steve Brown). A Goldcrest calling at first light at Pittville Lawn. Three Goldfinches attending a nest in a tree outside Regents Arcade, High Street. (Howard Taylor).
