WWT Slimbridge     Early morning from Estuary Tower 30 ARCTIC TENS and 120 Bar-tailed Godwits flew high NE upriver. Also a Yellow Wagtail and a Little Ringed Plover. (Slimbridge Sightings). The Spotted Redshank still from Zeiss hide. (Ian Hull).

Cleeve Hill     Three RING OUZELS (2m, 1f)  viewed distantly from the heather enclosure, high up on slope opposite this morning. A Redstart and two Tree Pipits at Prestbury Hill Reserve. (Paul Masters).

Frampton pools     Two Common Terns, three Whimbrels over, nine Oystercatchers, 150+ Sand Martins, a House Martin, three Swallows, two Reed Warblers, five Mandarins, a Gadwall, 50 Tufted Ducks, a Kingfisher and four Jays today. (Nick Goatman). Also three Great Crested Grebes, three Willow Warblers, a Nuthatch and a Bar-headed Goose. (Steve Pullen).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote this morning a pair of GARGANEYS on the new scrapes to the right of the path after crossing the road to enter and six Black-tailed Godwits circled low then flew E. (Ian Sherriffs). This evening a LESSER WHITETHROAT singing by the second hide. (Tim Salkeld).

Little Rissington     An adult male MERLIN hunting the hedgerows this evening. (Steve Kear).

Forest of Dean     11 Crossbills on treetops at New Fancy View today. Three Pied Flycatchers (2m, 1f) and a male Redstart from Lower hide at Nagshead. (Ian Sherriffs).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Whitethroat, six Little Egrets, two Redshank, a Swallow, Sand Martins, a Willow Warbler and two Oystercatchers. (Eric Harris).

Gloucester     At Saintbridge Pond four Teal, 12 Mallards, two Moorhens, a Mute Swan, a Grey Wagtail, two Lesser Black-backed Gulls eating a dead rat and two Chiffchaffs singing. (Paul Brunt).

Ashleworth Ham     This afternoon two Great Crested Grebes, a Little Grebe, a Black-tailed Godwit, two Curlews, three Oystercatchers, a drake Shoveler, seven Teal, 13 Tufted Ducks (10m, 3f), 15 Mallards, two Shelducks, nine Greylags, three Canada Geese, five Mute Swans, 15 Coots, three Moorhens, a Little Egret, 55 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, a Song Thrush, three Swallows and three Blackcaps (2m, 1f).
