Frampton pools     Early morning two Common Terns, three Common Sandpipers and 100+ Sand Martins on the Sailing Lake. On Court Lake a drake Mandarin, a Greylag pair and a Barnacle Goose pair both with two goslings, a Sparrowhawk, a pair of Ravens, a Treecreeper gathering nest material and an Oystercatcher calling. (MK). Later four Hobbies, four Common Sandpipers, seven Oystercatchers, a Swift, 50+ Sand Martins, 20+ Swallows, three male Mandarins, a pair of Gadwalls and three Shelducks. WWT Slimbridge     The near summer-plumaged Spotted Redshank and a drake GARGANEY on the Rushy. From Estuary Tower six Ruffs, a Greenshank, two Wheatears and a flyover Yellow Wagtail. (Neil Smart).

Slimbridge     Five Whitethroats, two Lesser Whitethroats and two Grasshopper Warblers between Slimbridge village and WWT late this afternoon. (Tim McGrath/Jonathan Bull).

Cashes Green     A female or juvenile Marsh Harrier flew E over Cashes Green at 7:50pm. A patch tick right over the house from Doverow Hill. (Steve Kear).

Cleeve Hill     22 Wheatears and a Whinchat this afternoon. (Greg Mabbett).

Forest of Dean     A Tree Pipit, two Firecrests, Siskins, Blackcaps and Willow Warblers in Russell’s Enclosure this morning. (Geoff Fawcett).

Highnam Woods     This morning a Nightingale singing, six Blackcaps, a Willow Warbler, four Chiffchaffs, five Jays, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Marsh Tit and three Nuthatches. (Paul Brunt).

Stinchcombe Hill     A Wheatear and a Whitethroat this morning. (James Robinson).

Brimscombe     At 11am a pair of Ravens displaying very high up. (Nikki Smith).
