Frampton pools     This morning two Hobbies on Court Lake at 9:25am, a pair of Shelducks, five drake Mandarins up a tree, the Ross’s Goose, 2+ Whimbrels heard and a Swift. At the Sailing Lake two Common Sandpipers, three Oystercatchers, two Common Terns and a male Yellow Wagtail. (MK). This evening a female BLACK REDSTART, three Hobbies, four Common Terns, three Oystercatchers, a Common Sandpiper, a Yellow Wagtail, a Garden Warbler, two Lesser Whitethroats, two Whitethroats, 50+ Sand Martins, six Swallows and four House Martins. WWT Slimbridge     A first-winter Mediterranean Gull on the Rushy this morning. (Tim McGrath). A drake GARGANEY from Robbie Garnett hide this morning. (Jonathan Bull).

Highnam Woods     A singing Nightingale still this morning. (Neil Smart). Park in one of the lay-bys and access via the pedestrian gate. Don’t park in gateways, block pavements, pedestrian access, or on private property. The car park open weekends and Bank Holidays 10am-4pm until September (6am-4pm in May). (Lewis Thomson).

Cotswold Water Park West    At Pits 41 and 57 four Common Terns, a Whitethroat and six Garden Warblers. (David Creber). A Cuckoo heard distantly from Pit 43 this morning. Also a Grasshopper Warbler, Sedge Warblers, Willow Warblers, Garden Warblers, Blackcaps, Whitethroats, Chiffchaffs and two Oystercatchers. Three Bullfinches in Somerford Keynes. (Richard Williams).

Barnsley Warren SSSI     Six Lapwings, a Whitethroat singing and male Wheatear today. (Harvey Sherwood).

Longney     Around the old orchards and along the Severn Way birds included a Cuckoo, a Reed Warbler, two Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, two Chaffinches, nine Wrens, two Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk. (John Fletcher).

Chedworth     On the airfield two Wheatears and a Whinchat today. (Duncan Dine).

Cheltenham     Three FIRECRESTS in local woodlands this morning. (Duncan Dine).
