Forest of Dean     At Nagshead four Pied Flycatchers, four Siskins, two Garden Warblers, four Mandarins and a Sparrowhawk. At New Fancy View seven Crossbills, a Cuckoo, three Siskins, a Garden Warbler, a Swift, two Swallows, two Sand Martins and a Lesser Whitethroat. At Woorgreens 2 possibly 3 Wood Warblers. Highnam Woods     At lunchtime a Nightingale, a Garden Warbler and a pair of Bullfinches. (Nigel Sluman).

Frampton     At the Sailing Lake early morning an Arctic Tern, seven Common Tern, a female Marsh Harrier, two Oystercatchers and four Shelducks. (Nick Goatman).

Charlton Kings Common     A Tree Pipit, two Yellowhammers, three Willow Warblers,
a Chiffchaff, a small party of Linnets and two Swallows through. (Steve Brown).

Breadstone     In the woods today, a male Bullfinch, a Nuthatch, two Treecreepers, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a singing Mistle Thrush and many Chiffchaffs, also two Brimstones, two Speckled Woods, an Orange Tip and a male Holly Blue. (Chris Newton).

Ashleworth Ham     Late morning two Shelducks, a Great White Egret, seven Little Egrets and 13 Grey Herons. Also 9+ Mute Swans in a field beyond the willows and 1+ Curlew heard. (Andy & Sue Gibbons). Also today three Shovelers, three Gadwalls, an Oystercatcher, five Greylags, six Canada Geese, 17 Coots, 21 Mallards, a Shelduck, a drake Teal, two Chiffchaffs and two Swallows. (John Fletcher).

Maisemore     A Red Kite circling over the village at 5:45pm. (John Fletcher).

Twyning     Two Curlews on the Great Meadow, viewed from Dock Lane picnic site at Bredon, Worcs. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Cleeve Hill     In Warden’s Wood this morning five Willow Warblers, five Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, a Buzzard and a pair of Bullfinches. Also a Peacock, a Comma and a Holly Blue butterfly. On the Common near the pylons two Wheatears, two Whitethroats and a Red Kite. A small amount of Swallow passage N.

Dowdeswell Reservoir    A pair of Great Crested Grebes today. (Howard Taylor). At Arle Grove near Dowdeswell Wood a pair of Ravens and an Orange Tip butterfly. (Keith White).
