Frampton     The WHITE STORK flew low S over the garden in the village at 2:45pm. It continued S and was last seen over Falfield. (Gordon Hodgson). At least five Hobbies at Court Lake this morning. (Paul Rich). A Sedge Warbler singing in scrub at Church End this evening. (per Sue Spurr).

WWT Slimbridge    A WHITE STORK circled over the Rushy at 2:10pm and headed NE towards Frampton. (Slimbridge Sightings). A GARGANEY from the Estuary Tower on the Tack Piece. (Esther Rumsey). From Middle Point this morning two Sanderlings with a large Ringed Plover and Dunlin flock on the Dumbles. Three Grey Plovers, 12 Bar-tailed Godwits and four Great Crested Grebes on the river. (Jeremy Holland). The female Red Crested Pochard still on South Lake. (Alan McIlquham).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Today a WOOD SANDPIPER still from Grundon hide. Also today birds included a White-fronted Goose, two Redshanks, a Curlew, two Lapwings, three Oystercatchers, 20 Gadwalls, ten Shelducks, two Shovelers, four Wigeon, a Teal, 12 Mallards, seven Mute Swans, 14 Canada Geese, four Little Egrets, four Grey Heron, 17 Coots, two Swallows, two Swifts, two Cuckoos heard, two Lesser Whitethroats, six Sedge Warblers, three Cetti’s Warblers, three Blackcaps, three Chiffchaffs, three Whitethroats, a Willow Warbler, a Reed Warbler, four Linnets and two Reed Buntings. Elmore     At the Elmore Court Rewilding Project from the public footpath along Broadmeadow Bank Ditch birds today included an Oystercatcher, five Canada Geese, a Wheatear, probably Greenland, two Sedge Warblers, a Lesser Whitethroat and a pair of Ravens. (MK).

Highnam Woods    This morning three Nightingales singing. (Simon Bradfield).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead a pair of Pied Flycatchers and Mandarin today. A Redstart and many Tree Pipits at Crabtree Hill. (Simon Bradfield). Also at Nagshead a roosting Tawny Owl and a Redstart. At Cannop Ponds a pair of Grey Wagtails at the sluice gates. (Roger & Sheila Wasley). At Woorgreens a Cuckoo, several Garden Warblers, 6+ Wood Warblers in surrounding woods and seven male Tree Pipits. (Rob Husbands).

Nailsworth     60+ Swifts milling over the valley this evening, most then slowly moving N. Also a Red Kite and a pair of Kestrels, the male displaying. (Terry Grant).

Edge     At Rudge Hill NNR late afternoon male and female Bullfinch, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers, a Willow Warbler, a few of each Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps heard, three Song Thrushes, a Kestrel and two Buzzards. (John Fletcher).

Rodborough Common     A male Redstart heard this morning. (Colin Greenfield).

Aylburton Common     A pair of Bullfinches in the garden feeding on Goat Willow this afternoon. (Martin Vaisey).
