Gloucester A adult male BLACK REDSTART singing at the bottom of Southgate St/Commercial Rd 7:30 to 8:30am. At 7:40am it was on Blackfriars Priory. (Andrew Bluett).
WWT Slimbridge A Spotted Flycatcher along the path to Kingfisher hide at 12:10pm. (Greg Mabbett). From Middle Point 242 Dunlins, 224 Ringed Plovers, two Sanderling, six Curlews and two Oystercatchers and a Cuckoo heard. (Helen Bojaniwska). The female Red Crested Pochard in the Decoy still. Saul Warth Early morning seven Avocets, three Curlews, two Oystercatchers and 15 Shelducks. (MK).
Frampton Between Fretherne and Splatt Bridges five Lesser Whitethroats, six Sand Martins and nine Swallows flew N, two Cetti’s Warblers and another in the 100-Acre. A Great White Egret and four Swifts over the 100-Acre. (MK).
WWT Slimbridge From Kingfisher hide a Cuckoo, a Sedge Warbler, male and female Kingfisher, four Common Cranes and a Reed Bunting. From Zeiss hide two Common Cranes and two chicks, 15 Avocets, 20+ Swifts, two Lapwings and an Oystercatcher. On the bird feeders a Great Spotted Woodpecker. (Jake Jenkins).
